"Teton Base Camp" is brand
new luxury lodging/accommodations for 1-6 people to explore our gorgeous
area. Our spacious condo is for rent with two bedrooms and two full baths
plus a 3rd bedroom/office, granite counter-tops, gourmet kitchen, laundry
with washer and dryer, two balconies, windows on three sides, fireplace,
42" Widescreen TV with DVD and DISH Network, and dedicated office with
Wi-Fi Internet access. (Wireless High Speed Internet access with USB and
Ethernet hookups too). We have The Grand Tetons to the East and The Big Hole
Mountains to the West and plenty of windows and balconies on both sides to
admire the Alpenglow of gorgeous Idaho mountain sunrises and sunsets! This
private and cozy retreat is perfect for a couple as the master bedroom and
bath is large and luxurious with a king-sized bed with down duvet, walk-in
closet, separate toilet area, double vanity, and oversized tub. The kitchen
features granite, stainless steel, and a pantry stocked with amenities like
dish soap, spices, oil, aluminum foil, coffee, etc to make your stay a more
pleasant one. The laundry area includes washer, dryer, laundry soap and dryer
sheets, and iron and ironing board. The living area is open and airy with
many windows, a 42" Widescreen TV with DVD/Dish Network, and a French
door leading out to a balcony with great Western sunset views of The Big Hole
Mountains. The
second bedroom (queen) is situated on the opposite side of the living area and
down the hall for privacy and seclusion, immediately adjacent to the second
full bathroom with double vanity, making it a private "mini-master"
if there are more than 2 people in your party. (Or it can be closed off if
you are just a couple wanting a cozy, yet luxurious, place to stay with all
the amenities.) This room features a French door leading out to a balcony. The
third bedroom has been converted into an office with a desk, desk light,
comfy futon and coffee table. Bring your own laptop computer and take
advantage of our high-speed Internet access with Wi-Fi (wireless) plus both
USB and Ethernet connections for a secure connection. Get all your work done
here and maybe nobody will even know that you've snuck away from the office
to enjoy some vacation time. This room also has a French door leading out to
a balcony. This
vacation rental is conveniently located in Buffalo Junction, in Driggs, Idaho, just one mile from Ski Hill Road and Grand
Targhee Ski Resort's legendary powder. A ski
shuttle also runs to the Snow King ski slopes (in Jackson, Wyoming) and
famous Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski area (at Teton Village). In winter,
this gorgeous area offers world-class downhill skiing, cross country skiing,
snowboarding, snow-shoeing, dog sledding, and Yellowstone "Winter
Tours". Spring and Summer brings wildflowers and warmth for hiking at
Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, horseback riding, trout fishing,
mountain biking, etc. Fall (September to mid-October) is a wonderful time to
visit the area as the foothills are covered in quaking aspen in shades of
yellow, gold, orange, and even sometimes red! The cries of bugling elk carry
great distances as they fight to defend their harems. The
central living area of "Teton Base Camp” flows into the kitchen and
dining, with access to wonderful sunsets through a French door leading to a
balcony facing West. The kitchen is stylish and efficient with granite
counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, and a walk-in pantry. A laundry
room allows you to pack light and dry soggy ski clothes after a hard day on
the slopes. You will not find nicer lodging or accommodations in the Teton
Valley! One
of the two spare bedrooms is the perfect "office away from home"
with Wi-Fi Internet, desk, futon, and large coffee table. A French door leads
to the balcony looking East towards the Grand Tetons and Grand Targhee Ski Resort. This room also features a comfortable
futon that can accommodate extra guests if needed. The
other bedroom also has a French door leading to a balcony and features a
comfy pillow-top queen sized bed. This bedroom is next door to the 2nd bath
with double vanity, so it can function as a second master bedroom, or be
closed off if not needed. The
layout of this condo makes it a perfectly cozy retreat for a couple, yet it
very comfortably accommodates more guests. It sleeps 2-6 people total as the
living room sofa is not a sleeper sofa. |
